A challenge with a freebie!

Val c Has a new Be Inspired Challenge!  This is the challenge:
1-Mix 2 kits on your Layout (no less, no more) - here I call "kit" everything which is sold independently. Ie: an alpha sold as a pack fulfill the "kit idea" required. So feel free to use MiniO for ex. or elements pack... all the Creative Box product are entitled for this definition. If you have doubt... please ask!

2-The LO MUST have only 1 photo AND The photo may not be blended.

3-The LO must have at least 3 arrows (you can do your own, doodle, cut out of paper, ... from element/paper of the kit of your choice in 1.

4-The LO must have a few line of journaling.

Val C designs, It All started

So Quirky

This month the Oscraps designers joined together to design a quirky Collab. It became a very fun and artsy kit suitable for making All about me lay out. So I did. I took an foto of myself I used in the Digidare and made another lay out of it.

I made this lay out with it I reflected the photo. I loved Val's glasses so I used them. I made a selection of my curtains and made a layer mask of it (selection)

This lay out was an entry for a Digidare. The word art spiral was made in illustrator> I used Courntney's design awesome kit Summer poppies. Unfortunately she's retired from Oscraps.

I made theses 2 aly outs with it. This young fellow is our new addition Mimi's latest accident

. He is a sweet, cute and enterprising youngster (6 weeks old and allowed by Mimi to visit my garden). Later on his new servant will be my mom.

2 some what older kits of val are Art book Freedom (the one I got my first GSO ever :) ) and Art book Under the Rain. two (as always) versatile kits which made me artsy.

This selfie was edited by a layer with Glowing edges filter  and a layer with Posterizing filter. I grouped the layers and made a black layer mask. With a watercolor brush I got my selfie back

I live in a coastal place with much wind. So after every rain splash you see broken umbrella's in ash trays..

A new product from Valc Designs

Val c made an awesome element pack, based on buttons! Creative stuff for an artsy lay out. When I saw the cute bicycles, a song started to play in my head. a song from my childhood years. We loved The Fabeltjeskrant (Fables journal), a puppet show, not only for the funny stories but also for the song(texts) which we listened on our record player.

Some GSO's on the Fingerpointing Blog

I don't know why is is so hard for my to post something (except for my not so great English). I didn't make much in Jube and July but I'm on a run now and I hope to show you my work more regular.

I was very proud when two of my lay outs were chosen in the GSO blog

The First ever was a lay out i made with Val C's Art Book freedom release  and a entry for the Art journaling Challenge

Second GSO was given to this lay out. I tried several AnnaChallenges (use numbers, textures) but I was too late with my entries every time
